Looks like Gelap is done with theirs, and Cahaya has something resembling a finished product. The four of YOU get to judge this one, I play no part in the actual results. Doesn't mean I can't express my opinion anyway. Both tribes had at least 5 members competing, and Rob Cesternino sat out for Gelap (as confirmed by him). I for one absolutely HATE Gelap's. It's more anti-Cahaya than pro-Gelap, and it's pretty distasteful. It doesn't seem to be within the spirit of the challenge as I envisioned it. It also doesn't seem to have a good rhythm to it. Cahaya's not only is the kind of thing I envisioned, it's pretty fun too. The last line as it is now could use some fine-tuning, but otherwise it's awesome. My opinion: Gelap: D Cahaya: B However, it is up to you four to judge the official submissions come 9 PM!

Gelap's is pretty funny. I remember in Tonga with the distasteful flags, I don't think its too bad, besides it is a fight song so the insults would provoke a fight. Cahaya is also very good but I think their Chorus is a bit lack luster
CAHAYA, C-A-H-AHA YEAH WE FLY HIGHER AND HIGHER CUZ WERE CAHAYA C-A-H-AYA YEAH
I vote Gelap on this one

For me, I see GELAP's as purely trash talk, and not really a fight song. I usually think of fight songs in like college football and stuff, and it's usually a song associated with a sports team, so I don't see how trash talk can be associated with them.
With CAHAYA, I like theirs and I love that they seemed to have a lot of fun with it, due to the actions at the end of the track. The chorus I think could have been a bit better, but overall it was pretty good and I could see their fight in it.
I'm gonna go with Cahaya on this one.

I agree about Gelap's being just trash-talk... I feel like it was really close to being better, mainly because of the "lack-lustre" chorus from Cahaya, but the insultingness of it all just outweighs everything. Whereas one is light-spirited the other is just unneccessarily mean. So that's my main issue, really. The chorus from Gelap isn't even that much better. For one, the last line feels cumbersome and too long, it throws it out of synch for me... and for two, well there was a big spelling/typing mistake in the actual chorus of Gelap's song that I guess went over-looked and was still included in the final draft. Anywhere else but in the chorus I would probably overlook but since this part is read the most, a big mistake like "loses" instead of "losers"... is just that, a pretty BIG mistake. I do enjoy the structure of Cahaya's a little bit more, and even though I do honestly feel like the actual lyrics in Gelap's were a bit more imaginitive... they were imaginitive in a negative way so I sorta give that to Cahaya as well. And finally, I'd have appreciated that Gelap's was longer, as it would usually show more effort was put into it, but again it being longer just allowed more space for insults. The length and content of Cahaya's was perfect for me. It didn't drag on and it was, as others have said, just overall fun and light. So, I'm gonna vote for Cahaya on this one

I like Cahaya's better. I think it flowed better and it made me laugh. I liked when all the girls flashed us at the end of the song lmao. Gelap's little rhyming phrases about each of the Cahaya members seemed to forced and unnatural, like they were trying so hard.
With that being said, Cahaya FTW!
