Dislike it all you want, I honestly don't care. But truth of the fact is that's what's gonna happen. Y'all wanna continue doing the boys vs girls, fine so be it. But we will go to TC b/c of it.

I think what they're getting at is that boys vs girls is not the twist but just how to set up tribes. The only twist I could think of was that at each tribal council there isn't a set number of contestants that could go home. A number of 1 2 or 3 could go home for the first so many rounds. The number could be picked at random through random.org. That's all I've got. And what I'm saying is that if we have anything dealing with boys vs girls we are going to get knocked down in points for having something that has been done over and over and over and unoriginal.

I got a twist. Shared it with Colleen and I think it will work. On day 1, the two tribes compete in a reward challenge. The winner will receive a revolver with one bullet. The runner-up will receive a medkit and will be allowed to protect a player each round. The "killer" can use his/her weapon at any point of the game. He/she just posts it in his confessional. The doctor must choose one person per round to save and if the killer happens to shoot the person the doctor saved, he's protected. The players may discuss the items if they feel like it or they can keep it to themselves at there discretion. If the killer uses it before merge, and survives until the merge he gets another bullet to use at merge only. So essentially there'll be two killers and two doctors in the game, both on each tribe.

Well, I seen any better suggestions in this thread...have you? At least it's something. Do we need to have tribes? What if we don't have tribes all together. Like x many players immune and x many players go to TC.

I think you and Rupert posted back to back as I was just finishing reading his post and I actually like his idea.
Although I have one suggestion, that they be required to keep themselves a secret that way there is a lil more pandemonium within the game

Also I would suggest that the Doctor not be allowed to protect the same person every round so that they can't keep saving one person. Make them chose others

I dont' like calling it the doctor...and killer. It just doesn't fit survivor for me. Is there another term to call it? And I just don't know about it. If I was playing in a game with that twist, it would lose my interest and I wouldnt like it. But at this point we don't have anything so....

The Doctor could be renamed the Medic b/c there are medics always on Survivor.
The Killer could be renamed Torch Snuffer since when your fire goes out, you're done in Survivor

This is survivor however, with a twist. Killing is just merely just him sending him/her to the pre-jury or in the jury frame, would send that person to the jury. Maybe its better they don't talk about it and keep it secret but this is better than anything else we got going

NICE RUPERT Sounds good to me. If 1st place won something. And 2nd place won something. Then of a large game of 24 people or whatever, I think 3rd place should win something too. 1st = Snuffer 2nd = Medic 3rd =

like the med-evac PILOT
they can leave the game for one day while their tribe is at TC. they go and have a feast, skip the vote, and are therefore immune. they can choose to use this once at any point in the game.
also as for the roles.
winner of the day1 Reward Challenge chooses which they want. 2nd place chooses one of the 2 leftovers and then 3rd is stuck with the only one left

I think that we need a lesson in communicating!!
If you're going to put down someones idea, you need to put up a new idea on your own. That way people aren't just saying "Your idea sucks, we need something better ASAP!" If you don't have a better idea, then don't comment on someone else who is trying to help!

Sydney - I think the avatars look great! The red does look a little dark in some places, but I'm excited to see the final product!
Rupert - Love the "twist." We just need to make sure it is explained in full when we post it on the proboards. Every possible rule and expectation needs to be there to minimize confusion.
Frosti - Love twist part 2. Could we possibly have two people doing it though? Person A plays on two different tribes, and Person B plays on two different tribes. As long as they keep it a secret and no one finds out by some point, they get immunity for one tc or something.
